The Governors Island Song Project
Co-sponsored by The Governors Island Alliance and VolunteerMusic, The Governors Island Song Project has enlisted New York’s rich and diverse musical community to support the public interest in the island’s future. The first phase of the project published ‘kits’ for The Governors Island Trilogy in Online-Offshore, the Alliance’s newsletter. Musicians, bands, combos and ensembles
are invited to offer their arrangements, interpretations and performances.
